Twilight Tour of the Bovina Center Cemetery
Saturday, October 24th 4:00 pm
Town Historian Ray LaFever will conduct a Twilight Tour of the Bovina Center Cemetery for interesting stories about citizens from Bovina's past and how some of them met their maker. The grave of Frederick McFarland says he "died on or near" February 21, 1889. If you want to hear the story behind those words, come for the Twilight Tour!
Admission: $5/person, kids under 12 free. All proceeds to benefit the Bovina Historical Society. Note: children must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday, October 25th 10:00 am to 8:00 p.m.
Maple Shade Farm, Delhi NY
The day’s events will include pumpkin-carving, carving demonstrations, children’s entertainment, a jack-o-lantern contest, a giant pumpkin display, local produce & products, crop art, animals, outdoor recreation, crafts & food. The highlight will be a giant display of jack-o-lanterns all lit at the same time in an attempt to break a local record that we set to beat each year.
