Getting Around
We have a saying up here, "It's just around the corner, half an hour away." While that is probably an exaggeration, but the bottom line is, that it's best to have a car. We see intrepid soles out cycling our roads all the time but never loaded down with fresh produce or an antique.
We've broken the county down into four sections - north, east, south and west. It can take over an hour to drive from corner to opposite corner of the county so ask your lodging host for driving time estimates to help make sure you arrive on time, or all your destinations are near one another.
In this section we've posted driving trails to show you the beautiful slow down and take it all in moments on our back roads. Sorry we can provide a downloadable map but feel free to stop by our office and pick one up.
We're easy to get to by bus, and trains and airports are just an hours drive away. Our resources page provides links to travel resources such as bus lines, airports, etc.
