All this is just two to three hours from Manhattan, two hours from Albany, one hour from Binghamton. Surprisingly, we are a great central meeting point for reunions from Boston, NYC, Rochester, Philadelphia.  All that convenience and the friendliest faces in all this wide open space of the Western Catskills. We are accessible by car from the east at Kingston Exit 19 of the New York State Thruway I-87, to the north from I-88 at the Oneonta exit 15, and from thesouth on the future I-86 (currently Route 17) at Roscoe, Hancock and Deposit.  We are also served by the Albany Airport and Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, and small commuter airports in Oneonta and Sidney.  While it is best to have a car, Trailways Bus Line runs through towns along State Hwy 28 on it's way to Cooperstown from the Port Authority and Kingston.  Access by Short Line Buses is on Rt. 17 in Hancock.

About Delaware County
The western slopes of the Catskill Mountains offer an agrarian landscape filled with wooded hills and fertile green valleys, over 700 miles of fishing streams, covered bridges, well-tended dairy farms, pleasant campsites, revitalized main streets and beautiful vistas. There are unbroken forests which invite hikers, campers and sportsmen seeking outdoor adventure. Our waterways, including over 11,000 acres of reservoirs and internationally renowned streams, offer some of the best fly fishing on the East Coast. Our mountains offer challenging downhill skiing, as well as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, or whatever kind of winter fun you enjoy.
