When you’ve worked up a hunger or thirst from all there is to do in the Great Western Catskills, we’ve got satisfying food and drink from classic country BBQ to just-off-the-farm fresh fare to recharge you. Ask for locally produced foods and beverages as more and more restaurants are offering them. This is a rapidly growing trend and farm-to-table dishes are quickly starting to dominate the menus of many of our local eateries. Catskills farmers and chefs are partnering to bring you great-tasting, nutritious and locally sourced foods. But don’t just go out for the food — experience great local music and entertainment right along with your meal!
Currently Russell's is one of only two stores in Bovina, and the only one that serves as both a sandwhich shop and general store.
The building is owned by the Bovina Historical Society and Beatriz Sohni is the proptietor. One can buy gas, gift certificates, groceries, clothes, knickknacks, souvenirs and much more. Also, have lunch and look at the Bovina Historical Society's artifacts. Many products in the store are locally made or grown. There are knitted blankets, eggs, meats and locally produced arts and crafts.
